Downloading Embroidery Designs Online

This simple guide will show you how to get (save) machine embroidery designs from the internet to your computer.
As you probably know, now you may obtain many beautiful designs online, thus avoiding the trouble of buying expensive pre-written memory cards, or CDs.

Some designs are available online for free, some can be purchased and then downloaded via a secret download link that you receive from design vendor after completing your order. And in both cases, the same steps are used to save the designs to your PC. So let's get started.

Assuming that you already have access to designs download link, do the following:

1. Click on the download link, using your left mouse button.

2. A small pop-up window will appear, asking whether you want to open the file, save it to your computer, or cancel the operation. Click on the "Save" button.

3. Another window will appear, giving you the option to select WHERE exactly you want to save the file on your PC. Select an appropriate folder on your PC. If you don't have a folder for your designs yet - create one, and give it a significant name, like "Embroidery_Designs".

4. After selecting the folder where you wish to save the designs, click "Save" button.

5. Another small window should appear, showing how the download is progressing. Shortly it should say "Download Complete". When you see that message, click "Close".


That's it. You may now navigate to your saved design, unzip it if necessary, and start using.
