Baby-Blue Eyeglasses Case

This gentle eyeglasses case, adorned by a baby-blue colored ribbon and Dantela Lace Square decoration, was sent to us by Bobbie Berry. Bobbie, thank you SO MUCH! It's beautiful!!!

Here you may see this case finished, and below will come a detailed instruction with photos, which Bobbie has taken during the process of stitching the case:



Required Supplies

- A piece of medium to heavy-weight designer fabric, in cream color
- A piece of baby-blue ribbon
- Design from Dantela Lace Blocks set
- Polyester embroidery thread (in color matching the ribbon)
- Water soluble backing (to stitch the lace design)


Instructions

1. Stitch lace design on double layer of quality water-soluble backing.

2. Cut out a piece of fabric and ribbon according to following sizing:



3. Secure the ribbon and lace with sewing pins, and mark the position of lace square.



4. Stitch-on the ribbon to fabric, then add the lace square, over the ribbon.



5. Overlock the entire square. You may add stiff lining if the fabric is too soft. Then stitch two edges to close the case.



6. Add a decorative bow, and project ready!
