Tableware Cases with Iris Designs

This jolly gift set of tableware cases was designed and accomplished by Viveka Berg from Sweden. Viveka, thank you so much for the great project!
Viveka used designs from Iris Blossoms set to decorate the cases. One case is for storing spools, one for the forks and one for the knifes. Take a look how the cases look from the front, and inside:

Required supplies:
  • Iris Blossoms designs
  • Laundry-safe machine embroidery thread in appropriate colors
  • Heavy-weight fabric for the cases body, and decorative fabric for the trimming. The decorative fabric can be regular weight collon, that's often used for quilting.
  • Batting
  • Embroidery backing - for quilting, iron-on cotton tearaway works great.
