Double Scissors Holder

Supplies needed:


1/3 yd medium weight linen
1/3 yd canvas
1/3 yd grosgrain ribon
1 pkg double fold seam binding
Embroidery design from Victorian Flowers collection

Draw pattern as shown in photos



Hoop linen, canvas and Water Soluble Stabilizer and stitch design.



Do not wash out stabilizer, it will add stability to the project.

For back section, pin 2 layers of canvas between 2 layers of linen, (linen, canvas, canvas, linen). Stitch around the outside edge.

For front piece, pin edges together and stitch close to edge around the piece.



Cut 2 pieces ribbon to fit across back section. (See photo) Pin and stitch in place at sides and vertically through center. This will hold the scissors securely in place.



Stitch seam binding to top of front section.



Place top on back section and stitch.



Sew seam binding around edge.



Finished.
